In Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, where Mark Khan was born, he was assigned to design the first solar powered building in the country. This multi-purpose structure provides retail at base level and rental suites, bar and restaurant in ascending order.
This is a seven-story building with 2500 square feet of solar roofing oriented to the sun throughout the year.
The top deck and infinity pool cascades down the face of the building.
This to pay homage to Kaieteur Falls, the world’s second highest in the world at 741 feet.
The solar array and battery storage rooms are designed to accommodate usage based on proposed activities for the entire building.
